Digital Empowerment
At Cornwall Neighbourhoods for Change, we are committed to helping bridge the digital divide in Cornwall. We know that access to technology and the skills to use it are essential for people to fully participate in everyday life. In partnership with The Access Foundation, we offer support and training to help people learn how to use digital devices to support their lifestyle.

We believe that by supporting people with digital skills, we can help create a more connected and stronger community for everyone in Cornwall.
IT Courses and Equipment
Our courses are for people who want to learn how to use a laptop, setting up an email address, or writing a document in word, and get a free laptop at the end of their course.
We launched our Digital Empowerment project in February 2024, in partnership with The Access Foundation Group, to help people in Cornwall gain essential digital skills.
We are offering free courses in St Austell and Redruth to help people learn basic computer skills, whether they are complete beginners or just looking to improve their abilities.

When participants complete the course, they will receive one of 128 laptops, giving them the opportunity to continue learning and stay connected.
We also run workshops to help people make the most of their tablets and mobile phones, ensuring that everyone can feel comfortable using technology in their daily lives.

Through this project, we are bridging the digital divide by helping those who may not have access to technology or the skills to use it. We are ensuring that everyone, regardless of their financial situation or background, has the opportunity to benefit from the digital world. By empowering people with the confidence and skills they need, we are helping them thrive in today’s technology-driven world.
