At Cornwall Neighbourhoods for Change, we understand the importance of career progression and offer support to anyone currently in work to progress within their chosen career.
We provide guidance and financial support for training courses that will help you gain the necessary skills and knowledge to advance in their careers. Just like our other services, we provide a friendly and supportive environment where you can feel comfortable seeking advice and assistance in your career progression journey.
Boosting Careers
Boosting Careers with Digital Skills is a fully-funded programme offering tailored support to those in work and the self-employed by providing one-to-one coaching, mentoring and access to training.
The Boosting Careers programme aims to provide people with personalised support and guidance, as well as help to identify strengths and weaknesses to upskill and take the next steps towards a higher-paying role.

We also offer fully funded vocational and functional skills training and digital skills training from our project partner, Digital Peninsula Network, to help our participants to get ready for their next employment.

ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages)
Beginner to Advanced
We offer online ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) lessons for employed people who want to improve their language skills for their career growth.
Our expert instructor will help you enhance your language proficiency, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Our online format means you can learn from anywhere with morning, evening and weekend availability for added flexibility around your job.
Mental Health First Aid
Level 2
This 1-day course is designed to equip your employees with comprehensive knowledge on common mental health conditions and the skills to act should a condition be suspected. Our course introduces the First Aid for Mental Health Action Plan, allowing learners to provide their peers with guidance and support.
Additionally, learners will be considered First Aiders for Mental Health, able to be a point of contact within the workplace to help and support those with a suspected mental health condition.
